What are Rise-Time Accelerators?

Rise-time accelerators are FET based architectures used to speed up a rising or falling edge transition particularly on a data or clocking signal. Parasitic capacitive loading increase the RC time constant, and slows down edge transitions. Rise-time accelerators or fall-time accelerators (one-shots) solve this issue.
